Owls are shamanic and guardian symbols for many cultures around our planet. In Hawaii the owl (Pueo) is one of the important family protectors and ancestral guardians known as “aumakua”. The cradled moon and stormy sunset provide contrasting crescent lights which reflect the beauty of this special guardian.
